Hi, Iβm Mariana (they/them)
Iβm a queer Mexican-American based in Berlin, Germany. Iβm a certified Transformational Life Coach, Shamanic Practitioner, Curandera, and Reiki Master Teacher.
Originally from Sausalito, California, Iβve always been a coach, healer, and guide in one form or another. I spent over seven years as a sailing coach, helping kids realize their competitive dreams on the water. Later, I followed a more traditional path, earning a B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley and moving to Berlin in 2014, where I worked in startups and NGOs.
After years of pushing through burnout and unprocessed trauma, I experienced a mental health crisis that forced me to pause and finally confront the pain and wounds I had long carried.
That rupture became the start of my healing journey. Through therapy, coaching, meditation, shamanism, and energy work, I found my way back to myself and began creating a life rooted in presence, purpose, and freedom.
It was through this process of re-membering and returning to my most authentic self that I felt called to become a Curandera, Coach, and Shamanic Reiki practitioner.
My purpose is to support and empower you on your own path of healing and transformation, helping you reconnect with your innate capacity to grow, feel deeply, and thrive.
I draw from a blend of trauma-informed, ancestral, and contemporary healing modalities. Alongside shamanic practices and Reiki energy healing, I bring in mindfulness, nervous system awareness, intuitive coaching, and somatic bodywork informed by my training in the Pantarei Approach. This work is grounded in presence, touch, and the belief that everything you need is already within you. Together, these tools create a deeply transformative space that nurtures mind, body, and spirit β allowing you to return to clarity, vitality, and connection.
About Mariana Luna
My mission is to guide and support you on your inner journey by blending contemporary and ancestral healing wisdom, so you can live with greater connection, clarity, and inner alignment.
I believe that personal healing creates powerful ripples. When we transform ourselves, we also contribute to the healing of the world around us.
Why I became a Curandera, Reiki Master Teacher and transformational life coach
For me, itβs simple. I feel deeply called to this path.
I am here for those who are ready to do the inner work, who want to awaken, heal, and transform their lives. I genuinely love holding space for people as they reconnect with their truth, process what has been held or hidden, and step into greater wholeness.
It brings me joy to support others in remembering who they truly are, so they can live with more freedom, clarity, and connection. I want to help each person become the radiant and powerful version of themselves they are here to be.
My Background, Qualifications and Lineages
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley.
I trained and qualified as an accredited coach in Transformational Life Coaching with Animas Centre for Coaching, the world's leading school of Transformational Life Coaching, accredited by the globally recognized International Coach Federation (ICF). See my official diploma here.
In addition, I hold a certification in Mindfulness and Meditation Coaching from Animas, and I completed the Power of Awareness meditation course with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. See my certification here.
I am a trained and certified Reiki Master Teacher for Reiki Levels 1-4 from the Usui Reiki Ryoho tradition. I trained in Berlin with my Reiki Master Romana Cottee.
I completed a Shamanic Studies program and apprenticeship at La Universidad de la Conciencia in Mexico City, training under the guidance of my shaman, mentor, and supervisor, Tarwe Hrossdottir. I continue to attend regular shamanic counseling supervision with her.
Over the years, I have completed hundreds of hours of training in trauma-informed healing, facilitation, and conscious communication. This includes studies in nonviolent communication (NVC), trauma-informed mindfulness, conscious kink, and polyamory-centered relational work.
I am currently deepening my somatic work through ongoing training in the Pantarei Approach, a body-based modality rooted in presence, connection, and the innate wisdom of the body. This work complements and informs all my offerings by inviting clients to feel more, access their emotions through movement and sensation, and come into deeper relationship with themselves.
